The Rolling Stones: Steel Wheels The Master Musicians of Jajouka and Bachir Attar recorded "Continental Drift" with The Rolling Stones (Mick Jagger, Ron Wood and Keith Richards) in the summer of 1989 at le Palais ben Abbou in Tangier, Morocco. Steel Wheels was first released in LP format in August 1989. The audio CD version was released by Virgin Records America in July1994. The BBC simultaneously filmed a documentary The Rolling Stones in Morocco, including Mick Jagger visiting and talking with Bachir Attar in Jajouka.

The Cell (film music performed by the Master Musicians) In 2000, Bachir Attar and the Master Musicians travelled from their small village in Morocco to London, England to record film music for The Cell. The music was orchestrated and conducted by Howard Shore and The London Philharmonic Orchestra with Bachir Attar and The Master Musicians of Jajouka. This music has been described as "a haunting and peculiar sound design for the virtual reality psycho-thriller."
