Other photos include Bachir Attar in Woodstock, New York and in Montréal, Canada; Bachir in Jajouka with Julian Brian Lawrence, son of lead guitarist Brian Jones who founded The Rolling Stones, holding pictures of their famous fathers and another showing him approaching the village on a donkey. Julian Jones's father Brian Jones brought the legendary music of the Master Musicians to world attention with his 1968 recording, Brian Jones Presents the Pipes of Pan At Joujouka, released posthumously in 1971 on an LP album. Bachir Attar's father, Hadj Abdesalam Attar, who died in 1981, was the undisputed Leader of the Master Musicians at the time of the Brian Jones recording in 1968. The original recording was re-released in 1995 on CD as Brian Jones Presents The Pipes of Pan at Jajouka. Additional photographs show Bachir Attar with Donovan, Peter Gabriel, Slash, Joe Strummer, guitarist Chris Stein and Blondie (Debbie Harry); Al Maddy—a great guitarist and friend, and Steve Lacey, Mustapha Attar and Bachir with Anushka Shankar (daughter of Ravi Shankar); Bachir with Talvin Singh in his London studio, and various Master Musicians, women and children living in the village of Jajouka, Morocco.
